We prefer to receive jobs in PDF-format.
Our price is based on receiving the completed project ready for print. Any unexpected problems in processing will be the responsibility of the customer. A few points on how to deliver documents for processing:
- Work can be delivered by e-mail (not suitable for large documents), CD, memory sticks or via FTP.
- Isafold recommends RGB working process. You can find instructions on the website of The Federation of Icelandic Industries, http://si.is/starfsgreinahopar/prentidnadur/rgb/[H1]
- There should be only one copy of the job.
- Don’t forget to print out a proof sheet of the work and enclose it, if possible. You can also send a PDF-file as a proof sheet.
- All material larger than 4 pages should be processed in a design program such as InDesign.
- The resolution of pictures should be 200 dpi for newspapers and 300 dpi for magazines and books.
- If pictures are compressed with jpeg to save space, use the “max-quality” setting so that picture quality doesn’t degrade.
- Do not use special colors (Pantone) except when they are to be specially printed.
- Mark the project with the project name, name of the owner and name and phone number of a contact person.
